Day 1: LARNACA - ATHENS - LISBON

Meet at Athens airport and fly to Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, built on the seven hills of the Tagus River. Arrival , transfer and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: LISBON - FATIMA - COIMPRA

Departure by road to Coimbra, the first University of Portugal and one of the oldest in the world. Our first stop is the great centre of Catholicism Fatima, located 142km north of Lisbon. Fatima takes its name from the appearance of the Virgin Mary in 1917 to three children of farmers in the valley "Cova Da Iria" and has since emerged as the most visited place of pilgrimage in the world. Arrival in Coimbra where we will tour the grounds of the University and the streets of the city of poets with its much sung river Montego also we will be in the courtyard of the church of Santa Clara La Nova where we will have a panoramic view of the entire city of Coimbra.

Day 3: COIBRA - PORT - AVERO

After breakfast departure for Porto a city that represents tradition, human values, hard work and the strength of the soul of the Portuguese Nation. The city also gave its name to the famous wine of the same name "PORTO" produced from the cultivation of grape varieties after the guidance of a British community developed in the city's port. Our first stop is at the Bushakou Forest the national forest of the Portuguese and one of the richest in plants in Europe. On our way we will make a stop in the beautiful town of Aveiro which is considered the Venice of Portugal. Arrival in Porto.

Day 4: PORTO

After breakfast we will tour the impressive town built on the banks of the Douro River and spreading harmoniously over the hills, still retaining its medieval aspect. In the Ribeira area, along the river, the old districts with their many traditional shops and the open market located at the dock, where the characteristic boats used to load the wine of the same name onto the dock. 
In the upper town we will tour the area of the Cathedral and the old railway building. Then we will visit the golden-plated St. Francis Church and the Bolshoi Palace, which houses the Chamber of Commerce and formerly the stock exchange. Finally, we will visit an old winery in the city, where for many years the famous "PORTO" wine has been maturing and we will have the pleasure of tasting its wonderful taste and rich aroma in a specially made "calice" glass. Afternoon free.

Day 5: PORTO - BRAGA - GIMARAES

After breakfast departure for a full day excursion to the province of Minio. We will visit Guimarães, the cradle of the Portuguese Nation and Braga, the religious capital of Portugal. There is the oldest cathedral in the country. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 6: PORT - BATALIA - NAZARRE - OBITUS - LISBON

Departure in the morning to Lisbon. Our first stop is the Temple of Battaglia, a World Heritage Site under the protection of UNESCO. Then we will go to the tourist fishing village of the Atlantic, Nazareth. An experience that will be unforgettable because of the cordiality and liveliness you will receive from its inhabitants as well as the unique feeling of a small village steeped in tradition, where we will have the opportunity to taste the local cuisine. Finally, we will also visit the beautiful medieval village of the artists Obitus. We will walk along the narrow streets among white houses decorated with colorful flowers and enjoy a panoramic view from the 13 meter high walls that surround the village.   Arrive late afternoon in Lisbon and check in at the hotel.

Day 7: LISBON

Today's tour is dedicated to the picturesque and hospitable city, which still retains its glorious Latin character. One of the city's most famous attractions is the Museum of the Royal Carriages, where we will admire a unique collection of luxury and richness dating between the 17th and 19th centuries. Our next stop is the Monastery of the Hieronymites, the most impressive symbol of Portuguese power and wealth. We will then visit the Monument of the Discoveries as well as the characteristic Tower of Belém, built in 1515 near the banks of the Tagus River to protect the estuary and classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site; where Portuguese navigators set out for the ends of the earth. In the afternoon, wander through the narrow cobbled streets of the medieval Alfama district to St. George's Castle for a panoramic view of Lisbon.

DAY 8: LISBON - SIDRA - CASKASKAIS - ESTORIL - PARK OF THE NATIONS - ATHENS - LARNACA

TBreakfast at the hotel and depart for a particularly enjoyable excursion to the outskirts of Lisbon, to Sidra the summer residence of the kings, Cascais, Estoril the tourist resort of Portugal and Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Back to Lisbon where we will finish our today's excursion at the Park of Nations built for the International Exhibition EXPO 1998 from where we will be able to admire among others the VASCO DA GAMA bridge. In the same park there is also the Lisbon Aquarium OCEANARIO. Full of memories we fly back to Greece. Arrival in Athents and flight to Larnaca.
