1st Day First contact with the city

Flight from Larnaca-Athens - Madrid. Arrival and departure directly for a first acquaintance with the city through a panoramic tour with our bus. With stops for photos at places such as Plaza Castilla with its twin convex towers (Puerta de Europa), the Arena of Madrid (Plaza de Toros Las Ventas) the largest in the country, as well as a walk in the largest natural lung in the city center the Park of Retiro, where we will see the artificial lake and the Glass Palace (Palacio de Crystal) then we go to Atocha station. Atocha station is the largest train station in Madrid, from here the high speed AVE trains leave for Barcelona, Zaragoza, Sevilla, Málaga, Valencia and Alicante. There is a wonderful lush garden inside the station which is the reason for our visit. Inaugurated in 1992, it occupies the section of the old station after it was extended to accommodate high-speed trains. The garden is home to 7,000 plants, from more than 260 species of the plant kingdom! 
Arrival and check-in at the hotel, some time to rest and we set off for a walk around the historic center of Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and free time for dinner.

2nd Day Tour

After breakfast at the hotel depart on foot for the Prado Museum. We will pass by Plaza Colon, Paseo de Recoletos, and Plaza de Cibeles with the Bank of Spain and City Hall and Paseo del Prado to arrive at the museum.
The Prado Museum is one of the most important galleries in the world with a plethora of famous works that would take us days to be able to see, in the 1 hour and 35 minutes we are given to do our scheduled tour with an official guide we will enjoy mainly from the Spanish School works by El Greco, Velazquez and Goya as well as some paintings from the Venetian School such as Tintoretto or the Flemish School such as Rubens. We will also have a free hour here so that you can see other works or visit the museum shop.
Then we will walk from the Madrid of the Bourbons with its large open spaces i.e. squares, avenues, etc., namely from the Prado Avenue, also known as the Avenue of Art, to the Madrid of the Habsburgs with its many narrow streets, and we will pass the Barrio de las Letras, the Neighborhood of Letters.

3rd Day Day Excursion to the Toledo of three cultures

After breakfast at the hotel departure for Toledo the old capital of Spain. Arriving first, we will take a panoramic bus tour around the perimeter and stop at an overhead viewpoint to take pictures and Toledo will be presented to us as a bride showing off her wedding dress. We will then head to the annex of the Damascene and Swords factory i.e. the two most typical examples of Toledo art.
Then we will start to walk from one end to the other, all over the old city. We will stop to visit the vestibule of the Sanctuary of St. Thomas where El Greco's masterpiece the Burial of the Count of Orgath is located.
Then we will go to visit the most beautiful Cathedral in Western Europe, the Cathedral of Toledo. In addition to the cathedral we will be able to see works by El Greco who lived and worked in Toledo, and not only...
Later free time and return to Madrid.
For the evening, so to end your trip to Madrid nicely we suggest a Flamenco performance !!!

Day 4 Free day - Optional excursion to medieval Segovia

Today we have our optional excursion to medieval Segovia, where we will walk through its streets, see the 2,000 year old Roman Aqueduct, the Plaza Mayor, the Castle-Palace Alcazar de Segovia and have the opportunity to taste in local restaurants, dishes such as cochinillo (baby pig) or try the local sweet Ponche Segoviano. Return to Madrid in the afternoon.  A minimum of 15 participants are required to make the tour and the cost per person is 50€.oday we have our optional excursion to medieval Segovia, where we will walk through its streets, see the 2,000 year old Roman Aqueduct, the Plaza Mayor, the Castle-Palace Alcazar de Segovia and have the opportunity to taste in local restaurants, dishes such as cochinillo (baby pig) or try the local sweet Ponche Segoviano. After breakfast at the hotel departure to Madrid Airport and return to Athens and then Larnaca
