Day 3: Ibiza, Spain

The ship arrives at Ibiza port at 11:00 until 19:00.

The best of both worlds in Ibiza
Thanks to its iconic nightclubs and star-studded DJ sets, Ibiza earned its reputation as the party capital of the world. So, Ibiza’s true beach-bum personality and quiet seaside streets might surprise you. Once you get to know its free-spirited culture, sandy coves and historic Dalt Vila, you’ll have a clearer picture of the most talked-about Balearic island.

In Ibiza, you’ll conquer clubs both day and night. Immerse yourself in Ibiza’s dance culture, plus VIP access to sophisticated nightclubs with showstopping DJ lineups. Then, wake up (or stay up) to detox in a prime beach club for a day of sun and much-needed relaxation. Wander through the island’s hippie markets where you’ll find colorful woven goods hanging from stalls or head south to Formentera (Ibiza’s smaller sister island) to explore sparsely inhabited salt plains and sand dunes. Ibiza’s laid-back luxury lets you seek shelter from the partying or dance until dawn.

4

Day 4: Palma Majorca, Spain

The ship arrives at Palma De Mallorca port at 07:00 and departs at 15:00.

Imagine an island with turquoise blue waters, secret coves, soft golden sands, lush green foliage, rugged mountains, picturesque villages and a vibrant capital city. Now drop that island in the sea only a couple of hours flight from most European cities... that's Mallorca (also known as Majorca) in a nutshell.

The island and its capital, Palma, are overflowing with character while its beaches are famous all around the world, making it one of the most sought-after summer destinations. Generously furnished with luxury hotels and villas, Mallorca is also one of the world's sailing hotspots. The locally produced foodie delights and wines, delicious traditional cuisine and first-class restaurants with Michelin stars have only added to its appeal. But that's not all, an island steeped in history, Mallorca boasts charming villages, historic sights, an artisan and cultural scene and popular events taking place throughout the year. If relaxing is your thing, grab a sun lounger at a beach club, hop on a boat trip or stroll through the old streets in Palma for some leisurely shopping. Just don't expect to relax for too long as there are theme and water parks for the whole family to enjoy, as well as watersports, thousands of things to do and all the serious walking and cycling you could care to do on holiday. And, if you've not overdone the daytime, there's always the bustling nightlife to finish you off.

5

Day 5: Cagliari, Sardinia

The ship arrives at Cagliari port at11:00 and departs at 19:00.

Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, provides the perfect blend of modern life and medieval mystery on your Italian cruise. Check out the thousands of mysterious nuraghi (stone dwellings) found on the island. See Mercato di San Benedetto, and photograph the amazing museum citadel.
Whilst in Cagliari, don't forget to visit Molentargius Saline Park - home to over 180 different species of birds and is famously known for its pink flamingos.

Fun Fact #1 - The Villa Clara, old mental hospital restored into the new provincial library, houses many cultural events throughout the year including the European Jazz Expo.

Fun Fact #2 - Cagliari is considered one of the greenest cities in Italy. Each inhabitant has access to 87.5 square metres of public gardens and parks.

6

Day 6: Naples (Pompeii), Italy

The ship arrives at Naples port at 10:45 and departs at 20:00.

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy's stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. A tour around Naples' grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will take you back centuries.

Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets. Buildings, churches, streets, ancient fortresses and castles in the sea, as well as natural caves make Naples unforgettable. Pizza was invented in Naples, Italy. The margherita pizza, topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella, was named after Queen Margherita. The Funicular in Naples is one of the longest funicular lines in the world.

7

Day 7: Rome, Italy

The ship arrives at Civitavecchia port at 08:00 and departs at 21:00

Civitavecchia, a former Etruscan port, is the seaport for Rome. And what about it? Everything here reflects the glorious power of a people who ruled the world. Located in cove, protected to the north by Mignone and south by the Marangone, the Civitavecchia port was built on the Tyrrhenian coast in Etruscan times and still preserves traces of this history. In particular, the Michelangelo fort and the old town with its 9th-century walls bear witness to the splendour of a medieval past. We have to take advantage of this stop to visit Rome, the grandiose capital with its world-famous monuments: the Forum, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trajan's column, St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, the Spanish Steps and so much more.

Not to be missed: The majestic Cathedral of St Francis of Assisi, The Fort Michelangelo and the Rocca, an impenetrable fortress

8

Day 8: Livorno (Florence), Italy

The ship arrives at Livorno port at 09:30 and departs at 18:00.

How lucky to visit the Tuscan region, Florence & Pisa, resplendent in art and history. What's even more fortunate is that all the main attractions in Florence are centrally located for the perfect walking tour. See Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo and Michelangelo's David.

Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, symbolizes the wealth and power of Italy's golden age more than any other city in Italy. It offers much more than the famous leaning tower.
The Leaning Tower was designed many centuries ago as a Campanile - a free-standing bell tower of Pisa Cathedral. Although designed to be standing vertically, the tower started to lean the southeast direction shortly after its construction began.
Cathedral of Santa Marla Del Flore is the second largest cathedral in the world, capable of holding 3,000 people. Begun in 1296, it took 140 years to complete.

9

Day 9: Cannes, France

The ship arrives at Cannes port at 07:00 and departs at 15:30.

Cannes, a jewel on the coast of France, will introduce you to the famous Film Festival. Away from the iconic seafront promenade of La Croisette, lined with chic boutiques and hotels, this destination offers remarkable heritage sites and the chance to visit exciting towns such as Monaco and the medieval village of Eze.

Arrive at port and discover the seaside town of Cannes. The city offers a stunning seaside that attracts people from all over the world throughout the year. Visit the old town characterized by narrow historic streets or Climb up to the castle ruins and take in the stunning aerial views, check out the yachts moored in the harbour and follow in the footsteps of the jet set as you stroll down the sartorial La Croisette, Cannes' famous seafront promenade.

Head out in comfort on an excursion to Monaco and Monte Carlo. You’ll encounter unforgettable architecture, magical marinas, and an abundance of historical landmarks. See the 19th-century Grand Casino and the elegant Café de Paris. Walk to the Rock of Monaco and the picturesque old town where you’ll find cobbled streets, artisan shops, and al fresco cafés. Watch the changing of the guard at the Place du Palais or visit the impressive Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium. For a royal experience, stop by Monaco’s Cathedral, which houses the remains of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III.
