Our MSC Lirica Adventure: Cruising in Style
Welcome to today’s adventure!
We started our day by carpooling from Nicosia to Limassol because sustainability is the key🚗🌍.
We hit the road, full of excitement, ready to see the mighty MSC Lirica, one of the most iconic cruise ships in the MSC fleet. But—plot twist—we were immediately greeted with traffic on the highway. Not the “cruise control, windows down” kind of vibe, but more of the “30 km/h and I’m pretty sure that snail just passed us” kind of vibe. 🐌
So, instead of complaining about our life choices, we decided to make the most of it. Enter: The Ultimate Carpool Karaoke Session 🎤🎶 Traffic? Doesn’t matter when you’re belting out pop hits at the top of your lungs. By the time we finally made it to Limassol port—an hour and a half later (yep, don’t ask)—we had basically formed a band.
Once we pulled into the port and parked (thankfully, there was no traffic here), we met up with the fantastic MSC staff and kicked off the tour of the MSC Lirica. And oh, let me tell you—it was worth the wait.
Fun Facts About the MSC Lirica (Get Ready to Be Impressed):
– MSC is a Swiss-Italian company—so, you know, they’re all about that luxury and style. 🇨🇭🇮🇹
– The *Lirica* was built in 2002 and she’s still looking pretty fabulous for her age.
– The ship can accommodate 1,560 passengers in 780 cabins, with a crew of about 732—so you’re in good hands!
– If you’ve ever wanted a ship that’s basically a floating city, this is it. With play areas for kids, a Spray Park packed with fun water features, a gym for your best “vacation body” goals, a spa for those self-care vibes, a casino (because why not), a Broadway Theatre for your inner drama queen, and a Blue Club Disco Room for when you feel like dancing like nobody’s watching. 💃🕺
Even though we were only on board for a few hours, it felt like a mini vacation. Just a taste of the MSC Lirica lifestyle, and honestly, we’re hooked. Can you blame us?
