1st day MALAGA

Arrival late in the evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

2nd day MALAGA - RONTA - SETENIL DE LAAS BONTEGA - GRANADA

After breakfast we will depart for the famous White Villages (Pueblos Blancos), stopping first at the unique rock-carved village of Setenil de las Bodegas. We will then move on to Ronda, a small town in the province of Málaga, with its great fortified position on a steep hill in the mountain range separating Upper and Lower Andalusia. The unique paths that crossed it and allowed communication by road, together with its fortified surroundings, contributed to its importance in the Roman, Visigothic, and Arabic periods. Tour and free time to admire monuments such as the New Bridge (Puente Nuevo) of the 100m-deep gorge of the Guadalévín River that runs through the historic center, as well as the oldest Bullfighting Arena (Plaza de Toros) in Spain. Arrival and check-in at the Granada hotel. Dinner buffet, overnight.

Day 3 GRANADA

After breakfast departure for the hill of Alhambra, the "red castle" as it is called in Arabic. Built on a stone hill, protected by the mountains and surrounded by forest, the Alhambra was originally designed as a military area, but from the middle of the 13th century it became the residence of kings - Sultans. A masterpiece of 14th century Islamic architecture with unimaginable detail in its decoration, it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the adjacent hill the magnificent Heneraleife Gardens (Generalife) where the summer palace of the kings - Sultans dominates. Afterwards we will have free time in the historic city centre after walking through it passing, among others, the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, the small "Souk", the New Square (Plaza Nueva), and the small river Darro. For those who wish (OPTIONAL), after dinner at the hotel, there is an evening walk up the hill of Albaicín, the old Moorish Granada, where we will have a panoramic view of the illuminated Alhambra as well as the entire city. Then we will be on the other hill of the city, Sacromonte, the gypsy quarter, to watch in the cave houses, gypsy flamenco, with a drink.

4th day GRANADA - KORDOVA - SEVILLE

After breakfast some free time and departure for Cordoba, the distant and lonely Lorca, the former capital of the important caliphate of the West. On arrival we will visit the Mezquita-Cathedral (Mezquita-Catedral) a monument of unparalleled beauty a blend of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and second most important mosque in its time after that of Mecca. We will then wander through the picturesque streets of the old Jewish (Judería) and Muslim quarters, with their magnificent patios, and have free time before departing for the capital of Andalusia, Seville. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

Day 5 SEVILLE

Our morning tour this morning will begin with a panoramic bus ride, and we will disembark at the beautiful Plaza de América with its trilogy of the most important architectural styles found in Seville. Through the Park of Maria Luisa we will end up in the most beautiful square in Spain, the "Plaza de España". We will then walk through the alleys of Santa Cruz (the old Jewish quarter) and see the Royal Palace (Real Alcázar) - which we will visit - the Archivo de Indias (Archive of the Indies) and the Cathedral (Catedral de Sevilla). Finish the tour on the riverside to admire the view of the famous Guadalquivir River. Your afternoon will be free and you can take advantage of it for a riverboat ride on the river, or even to taste some of the delicacies of Andalusian cuisine in the form of meze (Tapas). For the evening and after dinner at the hotel, we suggest attending a show of Sevillian flamenco in its birthplace, and indulge in its intense and passionate varied rhythms with the most virtuoso artists.

Day 6 SEVILLE

After breakfast we will head to the historic centre to visit the Cathedral (Catedral de Sevilla). 
Free time to enjoy Spain's most beautiful city and do some shopping.

Day 7 SEVILLE - KADITH - XERETH

After breakfast departure for Cadiz, one of the sunniest cities in Spain. There we will face the Atlantic Ocean, tour the historic center with its white Cathedral, and arrive at the Central Market (Mercado Central) with its historic fish market and many snapshots of Andalusian daily life. Departure in the afternoon for Jerez de la Frontera and check-in at the hotel.

Day 8 XERETH - YIVRALTAR - MALAGA

After breakfast we will take a short walk through the historic centre with the wineries of the famous "sherry" wines, the squares of Arenal and Asunción (Old Town Hall) and the iconic "Gallo Azul" café in the most historic building of the city. Departure for Gibraltar. Arriving outside the border checkpoint and after leaving our bus and passing the checkpoint (Passport or ID required) we will approach the English-style city centre preferably by bus connecting to the border, and in the free time you will be able to do your shopping or optionally 50€ for those who wish to climb the Rock. Licensed taxis take us up to the point where according to mythology was one of the two Herculean Columns, also included in the tour is the entrance to St Michael's Cave with its amazing stalactites which we visit afterwards, and then we climb to the highest point with stunning views of the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Africa where the famous Gibraltar monkeys live in a semi free state. 
Departure and arrival in Málaga where we will take a walk through the historic city centre, the famous Larios shopping street, the Plaza de la Constitución, its narrow streets, the Cathedral "La Manquita", and the Roman theatre. In your free time you have the option to be at the amazing Port Muelle 1 or the historic centre where you can say goodbye to Andalusia in the best possible way, its own way... eating fried fish (pescaito frito) and drinking a beer or a glass of wine. Departure late in the evening for Malaga airport and flight to Athens and then to Larnaca.
