Sri Lanka, The "Teardrop of Asia", the "Blessed Island", the " gem of the Indian Ocean, is an island located southeast of India that until 1972 was called Ceylon. This blessed island is a mysterious, enchanting destination that fascinates every traveler. A land of unparalleled beauty with dense tropical vegetation. The national parks, the tea and spice plantations, the beaches with the coconut trees, the imposing temples, the myths, the traditions of thousands of years, the flavors, the amazing food and above all the smiling, kind and hospitable inhabitants, make up a heavenly place!

Weather conditions
The destination is ideal for all periods of the year with stable temperatures and perfect sea. Specifically, from May to August the southwestern side of Sri Lanka gives tropical rains, while the dry season is from December to March.
In October and November tropical rains may occur in various parts of the Inland of the island. Also, Colombo and low-lying areas have a medium temperature of 27°C.

DAY 1 - DAY 2: LARNACA - COLOMBO

Meeting at Larnaca airport and flight to Colombo via Dubai. Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and welcome by a traditional group of dancers. Transfer and check in to hotel with early checkin . Time for rest and relaxation. Welcome dinner at the restaurant. Enjoy local flavors in a traditional, eco-friendly setting for an authentic culinary experience (Buffet Style). Overnight stay.

DAY 3: COLOMBO - HAMPARANA

Breakfast and the day starts with the largest city of Sri Lanka. It is a combination of east and west, past and present, with cultural and colonial influences. The tour will take approximately one hour. Afterwards, transfer to the Hamparana area, located in the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon you will take a Jeep Safari to Minneriya National Park, a national park in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The Park is located between Hambharana and Polonarua and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 8890 hectares of the National Park consists of mixed evergreen forest and bush areas and is home to favourite species such as sambar deer, leopards and elephants. However, the central feature of the park is the ancient Minneriya Reservoir (built in the 3rd century AD) Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: HOLY ROCK - SIGIRIYA

Start this morning to climb the famous 'Sigiriya Rock', a stunning 250-metre-high stone fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating back to the 5th century, it is known as the 'Fortress Sunflower'. Halfway along the route, the impressive frescoes of topless girls, the "Virgins of Sigiriya", painted in earthy colours on lime plaster illuminate the wall with their wonderful smiles . Two huge feet carved into the wall, the "Lion's Terrace", flank the path to the top. The ruins of the beautiful royal citadel lie at the top.   Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: DAMBOULA CAVE - CANDY

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Kandy. En route, you will visit the magnificent rock - temple of Dambulla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 1st century B.C. Recognized as the largest rock shelter in the world, with 2000 m2 of walls and ceilings painted with over 150 images of the Buddha the largest of which, carved into the rock, is 14 meters high. Continue your journey where it will bring you to the beautiful holy city of Kandy the last capital of the kings of Ceylon before control of the country fell into British hands in 1815. Kandy, the jewel of central Ceylon is a city full of legends and traditions. It is surrounded by green hills and at its centre is an artificial lake. Here you will visit the Buddha's Tooth shrine, where thousands of devotees flock to make vows. Your day will end with a spectacular local dance performance where you will discover the different types of dance practiced in Sri Lanka, including the Fire Dance. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6: CANDY - NUVARA ELIA

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to the charming destination of Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, at an altitude of 1800m, was the holiday resort for the English, which to this day leaves indelible signs of colonialism in the atmosphere of the area. The town is surrounded by tea plantations, ideally favoured by the altitude, while 20 km south lie the Horton Plain meadows. On the way you will visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. Walking through their stunningly landscaped grounds you will see beautiful varieties of flowers. Then you will visit a plantation and a tea processing factory. You will learn about the process of brewing this "noble" infusion and have the opportunity to taste some of the rarest varieties. In the afternoon you will spend the afternoon touring the town and the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7: NUVARA ELIA - VINEYARDS

In the morning after breakfast you will be driven to Yala, for the Yala National Park located in the southeast of Sri Lanka, a rural corner of the island famous for its vast game reserves and cultural heritage. On the way stop in the town of Ella for a short sightseeing tour. Photo stop at the Ravana Ella caves and waterfalls. Check in at your hotel near Yala National Park. Check in at the hotel and free time . Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 8: NATIONAL PARK GYALA - GALLE - BENDOTA

Breakfast and morning visit to the National Park of Gyala for safari. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, leopards, deer, crocodiles and other animals. Return to the hotel and depart for the colonial town of Galle. On the way we will see traditional fishermen on poles, a typical Sri Lankan sight. In Galle, we will tour the historic fort and the picturesque streets with European architecture. We continue on to coastal Bendota, known for its golden sandy beaches. Rest of the day free for relaxation. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 9: BOAT RIDE MADU RIVER - TURTLE HUTCHERY - BENDOTA

After breakfast , you will be driven to Balapitiya to enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful Madu River. You will visit a turtle hatchery. You will then return to the hotel to spend the rest of the day at leisure. The hotel is located by the sea, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll or visit the town centre for your last-minute shopping. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 10-11: BENDOTA - DUBAI - LARNACA

After a leisurely breakfast, day is free to relax and unwind at the hotel. Late in the evening leave your hotel and drive towards CMB Airport for your flight back. Please note a late check-out until 22.00hrs and buffet dinner is included. Transfer Time: Approximately 2 hours.
