Meet at the airport and depart for Venice. Arrival and tour of the magnificent city of the canals, with Piazza San Marco, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge. Visit to the Greek Quarter with the Church of St. George and the Hellenic Institute. Wander through the narrow streets, numerous baroque palaces and charming squares. Free time for lunch and gondola ride. Transfer to our hotel. Check-in and overnight stay.
Breakfast. The day begins with romantic Verona, the city of lovers. Its historic centre showcases Verona's Arena, Renaissance palaces, fondantas and Juliet's house, while we admire the Cathedral and Basilica of St. Anastasia. Our next stop is the enchanting lakeside town of Sirmione with its 12th century castle, Maria Callas' villa and hot springs. It is one of the most popular attractions on Lake Garda, with thousands of visitors enjoying this beautiful scenic peninsula. Free time to enjoy a short cruise around the uniquely beautiful peninsula and then depart for Milan. Check in to rooms and overnight.
After breakfast, a guided tour of Milan, the metropolis of fashion and art, follows. Guests will experience the imposing Duomo Cathedral, the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the historic Sforza Castle and the famous La Scala di Milano. The city's little Venice, the Navalny, highlights the special atmosphere of the area, while the shopping street Corso Vittorio Emmanuele is full of shops. The tour then continues to the picturesque Como, near the Italian-Swiss border. Overlooking the lake and surrounded by green hills, Como charms every visitor. During the tour, there will be a stop at the Volta Museum, the Life Electric Monument and Villa Olmo. In Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral and the historic Broletto stand out. Free time, return to the hotel and overnight.
After breakfast, departure is made to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. During the tour, guests will be introduced to the city's major sights, starting with Santa Croce, the impressive church that houses the tombs of great figures such as Michelangelo and Galileo. Next, visit the iconic Ponte Vecchio bridge, Piazza de la Signoria with its Palazzo Vecchio, and Piazza San Giovanni, dominated by the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with its famous Brunelleschi dome. There will be free time for a stroll and coffee in the atmospheric city, before departing for the hotel and settling into the rooms.
After breakfast, we continue our tour of Florence, the "mother" of the Renaissance, full of historical monuments and art. You will have time to explore and photograph the highlights of the city. We then head to Pisa, where we will visit the famous monuments and the Tower of Pisa, one of the most famous sites in the world.
This is followed by a visit to a typical Tuscan winery for a tasting of local wines and food. Last destination of the day is Siena, a medieval town full of Gothic churches, palaces, narrow streets and the famous Palio, the horse race held in its main square.
After breakfast, you have free time or an optional excursion to the villages of Cinque Terre. We will enjoy a cruise to the villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola and Monterosso, with time for lunch. Afterwards, we will visit the village of Vernazza and Portovenere with wonderful views. Finally, we will see Lucca, with its 16th century wall and its important monuments. Time for a traditional lunch in the Amphitheatre Square. Return to the hotel in the evening and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Bologna, known for its rich history and gastronomy. A tour of its historic centre will take place, with a stop at the impressive Piazza Maggiore and the city's characteristic arcades. Afterwards, a visit to Padua, one of the oldest cities in Italy. Highlights include the historic university, the majestic Basilica of St. Anthony and the imposing Prato della Valle. This is followed by free time for a stroll and coffee before departing for Venice. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Venice airport and board the return flight, with your luggage full of beautiful memories.
